Welcome to Calabash Studios! Calabash Studios — a place to study and move! Calabash Studios is located in Paradise Park. Boasting a 20' x 40' dance floor and mirrors on two sides, the studio is screened from the environment. Facing a beautiful grove of guavas, ohias, and lava, the studio is a quiet place to practice and a great place to learn: Middle Eastern Dance - Cabaret with Abby! Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays! All Levels! $10 TRIBAL FUSION WORKOUT Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30. TRIBAL FUSION BELLY DANCE ~ $5 a class!!!! ~ Created in California and spreading all over the world, tribal belly dance brings choreography and improvisational dance together in for women to share. Wear what makes you happy! Bring a mat and water. Three classes available! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Use it as a workout or come and share the stage! $5.00 per class. Jillian

CABARET BELLY DANCE! ~ Join Abby on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Choreography, veils, floor work and more! All levels welcome for this creative class! $10 per class, deals for family groups, bring your AUNTY! Bring your SISTER! Bring your MOM! Bring your BFF (best friend forever)!

Jesse Seymour, performer and teacher, come and join his drumming class. Learn the rhythms that get everyone dancing. Jesse plays a myriad of percussion instruments and brings depth and understanding to each class. By bringing several rhythms and instruments together, the group performs as one with an individual flare. Learn to jam with the best of them! Rental drums available! Big Island CAPOEIRA ANGOLA Group - MONDAYS 6:30-8:30pm! All Levels Welcome! It's martial arts, it's dancing, it's music, and more! Come and play capoeira!

Join the Big Island Capoeira Angola group to train in the music and movement of Capoeira Angola. Big Island Capoeira Angola is led by Joe Hoffman. He began training with Mestre Jurandir in the fall of 2000. Big Island Capoeira Angola is dedicated to preserving the tradition of th art-form with reference to and guidance from Mestre Jurandir. "Capoeira is a form of self-defense, brought by enslaved Africans to Brazil. An integral part of Afro-Brazilian culture, Capoeira weaves with breathtaking ease, dance, fight, play, music, flexibility, philosophy, spirituality and wisdom for everday life.
